"Altana", St Mark's Square (Venice)

Recently, Bergamo Costruzioni was tasked with the complete restoration of the terrace, aimed at preserving and enhancing this extraordinary space. The work began with a careful analysis of the condition of the wooden terrace flooring, identifying sections that required intervention and replacement. Using high-quality artisanal techniques, the damaged sections of the wooden flooring were repaired and replaced, ensuring a uniform and durable surface. At the same time, the iron structural elements supporting the terrace were restored and consolidated, ensuring long-term solidity and safety. In addition to restoring the flooring and iron structures, an intervention was carried out to restore the external terrace plaster. This phase involved the demolition of the damaged plaster sections, followed by repair and refinishing of the surfaces, ensuring a uniform and well-finished appearance for the terrace. Thanks to this meticulous restoration work, the terrace-altana in Piazza San Marco has regained its former splendour, offering the owners a unique and evocative space to admire the timeless beauty of Piazza San Marco in all its glory.
