High tide pools are watertight basins that are placed in the basement of a building and prevent water from pouring into it when the sea level rises.
This is a fundamental work that can contain damage and preserve buildings located in particularly fragile areas, such as Venice, which is characterised by significant tidal variation at specific times of the year.

As a construction company, we construct waterproof concrete high tide pools (usually for tides of not less than 200 cm). The execution of the work includes a well-tested system of piping, door holes, flooring and waterproofing of the walls that ensures the flow of sea water into the tank and prevents it from stagnating inside the building, thus preventing damage to the structure.

After completion of the work, the high tide pool is sealed with movable stainless steel bulkheads. These are made to measure, taking into account the dimensions and technical heights of the tank, and then positioned in the hole or in the entrance door
