Palazzetto Corte Lezze, San Marco (Venice)

The intervention focused on two key aspects: the demolition and restoration of the facade plaster, and the complete renovation of the roof and attic floor. To protect the building during the works, a temporary roof was installed to prevent weather-related damage. The complete removal of the roof and its supporting elements was a delicate operation, requiring expertise and organization to ensure respect for Venetian architectural heritage. In particular, the restoration of the "doge's hat" chimneys represented a technical challenge, but through careful attention, it was possible to preserve these distinctive elements. The palazzetto underwent a radical transformation, including the complete demolition of the floor and roof. New supplies, such as the attic floor and laminated larch beams, were installed to ensure the building’s stability and durability. Finally, the roof tiles were restored, bringing Palazzetto Corte Lezze back to its former glory. This intervention preserved and enhanced one of San Marco's architectural treasures, ensuring it remains a symbol of beauty and history in the heart of Venice.
